We had a fun first at our house. The boys took a bath together. And I took pictures! (Sorry in advance to the 16 year-old version of my firstborn. Moms did it in the 80s too, Mac. You can find mine buried in a old photo album, in a cardboard box in Grammy’s attic.)
So when I walked past a $3.99 circular laundry basket at HEB last week, I thought I’d give it a try.
It worked great. Nathan didn’t tip over once. He splashed around but couldn’t bend over enough to put his face in the water. All of his toys stayed within reach. It was super easy to wash him. It was fun for me to see the boys interact together in the tub. And, it was a time saver.
Twenty months old and Nathan finally graduated out of the infant tub. I’m not taking the little things for granted. The little things are big things to be thankful for.
In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thess 5:18
