I reflect often on our time with Nathan in the NICU. It was disorienting. I was sorting through all of the medical information being disseminated daily and trying to bond with my baby at the same time. I wish I had known all his diagnoses had less to do with who he is, and more about the challenges he’ll face, and eventually conquer.
As hard as the NICU was, I learned some significant lessons that will stay with me always. I’m sharing those over at PreemieBabies101 today.
