Everyone has a story to tell. Often the most beautiful stories bloom from hardship. Grief can be the fertile soil from which painful things become the redemptive work of God in our lives.
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor. – Isaiah 61: 3
Over the years I have been able to connect with several moms who have children with different challenges. Even though none of our children, or our stories, are an exact match, there are similarities that help us carry and encourage one another. It helps us feel not so alone.
I would like to continue helping share your stories of beauty growing out of difficulty though guest posts.
If you are interested in participating, please submit your story to me using the guidelines below. You may either email me at kathyallthingsbeautiful (at) gmail (dot) com. Or, fill out the form below.
Please note you do not have to have a child with special needs to participate. Just a story of how God took something that was hard and turned it into a more beautiful story than you could have imagined.
